The RPL Australian Computer Society skills assessment pathway is a golden opportunity for those without ICT qualifications. Through an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) report, you can demonstrate your IT skills, knowledge and work experience for assessment. In other words, you can show your IT competency to let the authority assess your capability.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is an ACS RPL report?\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

An RPL report is submitted to ACS by an IT professional who wants to migrate to Australia and work there. However, the candidate doesn\u2019t have a degree in ICT, or they are from a different background. The RPL Australian Computer Society skills assessment<\/strong><\/a> is an evaluation process. ACS conducts this assessment to assess the IT skills, knowledge and work experience that a candidate earned formally or informally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By means of this report, a candidate has the opportunity to demonstrate their equivalent knowledge without an ICT qualification.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates for the ACS Core Body of Knowledge (CBOK) for ICT professionals can attain this. For that, they must highlight several different areas in this document that they find a part of their earned knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As evidence of their knowledge standards, the applicant has to submit reports on two projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Recognition of Prior Learning Form needs you to submit two project reports you have completed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who can use the RPL pathway?\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

The following are the two types of candidates eligible for the RPL pathway:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first one is those without ICT degrees. These candidates need 6 years of professional ICT experience in a field relevant to the chosen occupation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The second is those without even tertiary degrees. These candidates need 8 years of relevant professional work experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You are advised to strictly follow the ACS guidelines when applying for skilled migration to Australia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
