• Consulting with users and evaluating their needs to recommend designs desirable for them with cost analysis, project plans and plan tasks for installation
• Analyzing technical problems and solving them
• Planning and testing network for recommendation and implementation purpose in file server, mainframe, and workstation software and hardware requirements.
• Playing the role of technical specialist in case of any technical difficulties and emergencies
• Providing network documentation, guidance as well as training to the clients and programmers
• Solving network problems by troubleshooting
• Carrying out technical research on current network upgrades, determine cost, time, feasibility and compatibility of the system as compared to the current system
• Recommend short, medium and long term network solutions
• Installing, maintaining and configuring the components of network
• Plan and design the layout required for new hardware requirement as compared to the current system
• Creating user profiles, environments and security systems
• Team work with others system staffs to maintain the compatibility of the systems
• Work with vendors to solve complex network problems
• Maintenance of confidentiality and privacy of information
